At Happy Hedgehog Tuition, provides a range of options to learn and progress in Maths and Verbal Reasoning. Lessons are taught in a fun, friendly and nurturing environment. Whether your child has gaps in their understanding or is preparing for an upcoming exam, tuition is carefully tailored and personalised to meet your child’s needs.

1:1 Tuition
I recommend pupils that pupils begin with an assessment session. This includes a friendly chat and a selection of maths questions or activities to help your child feel settled and relaxed.
This session allows me to gain a good understanding of your child’s current attainment and gaps in understanding. It also lays the foundation for planning future tuition sessions that are carefully matched to your child’s needs.
This approach helps parents feel confident that I am the right fit for their child and ensures children feel comfortable before committing to a tuition place.
Parents receive a brief personalised email, after every session, covering the learning topics and how their child has engaged in the session. The email also has a directed learning activity to practise and consolidate learning.
Group Tuition
Group tuition is usually to a maximum of four pupils from the same academic year group. The first group session includes a low-key assessment so that the following sessions can be planned to support the needs of the whole group.
After each sessions, parents receive a brief email outlining the topics covered and a suggested activity to practice at home.
Learning Programmes
Specialist learning programmes are delivered online and run over a specified number of weeks.
